Johnny Freeman
Founder and Principal Agricultural Consultant
35 years of Agricultural experience
Johnny Freeman brings more than 35 years of professional experience in agriculture, conservation, land management, and natural-resource planning to Cultra Agricultural Consulting LLC.
Throughout his career, Johnny served as a Soil Conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where he worked extensively with farmers, landowners, agricultural operations, and communities to address soil conservation, land-use planning, water management, and agricultural resource concerns. His career included serving as a District Conservationist in Seneca County, where he provided leadership, technical guidance, and conservation planning for agricultural and natural-resource projects.
Johnny earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, giving him a strong academic foundation in crop production, soil science, plant health, land management, and agricultural systems. His professional experience has also provided him with extensive knowledge of hydrology, soil and water conservation, land preparation, farm efficiency, plant protection, and agricultural project planning.
Over the course of his career, Johnny has been recognized for his contributions to agriculture and community service, with his accomplishments featured in numerous newspaper articles. His work has extended beyond agriculture through his involvement with charitable organizations, youth programs, and community leadership.
In addition to his agricultural career, Johnny is an author, Cubmaster, and ordained Deacon, reflecting a long-standing commitment to leadership, service, mentorship, and community development.
He also earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, further demonstrating his commitment to continued education, leadership, organizational responsibility, and professional development.
Today, Johnny brings his decades of experience to Cultra Agricultural Consulting LLC, helping farmers, landowners, agricultural businesses, contractors, and organizations develop practical solutions in:
